Nov 14th-20th

This was a pretty low key week. Did lots of resting, and figuring out with ALL the doctors the best way to control my spasms. Just a mixed bag of decisions because prior to the baclofen pump it had been managed by pill format. But I started taking so much we were stepping into the danger zone of organ damage. Then I tried Botox shots those did not work.  So pray because all of these treatments before I had them before. So that’s the whole reason why I got a Baclofen pump. They didn’t say how long but they did say it was a possibility to put the pump back in. But for that to happen obviously the bedsores have to be gone and I have to have a considerable amount of weight put on. However so far they’ve been “manageable”.  This week turned into a week preparing to go home. I was also able to spend some great time with my dad, friend Jarrett, Aubree, and my mother in law. It was great hearing dads reminder that there were lots of people praying for my recovery, and that my body could handle not having the pump. Also my spasms were so intense that I was 5’8 maybe 170 lbs and would kick my brother Tim 6’6 and Jon I think 6’6 1/2 but both at least 220 lbs but the spasms would even kick them back. I have had this pump since 2005, but they replace everything every 7 yrs. So we were all just wondering how things would go. Thank you all for your prayers, support, and for the laughter that was had with family and friends while in the hospital. The biggest answer to prayers was going home for Thanksgiving unfortunately last year Erika and I spent it in Community North Hospital. Heavy on my heart was mom rejoicing into Heaven. See my mom passed November 29th. Continue to pray for healing and then my surgery next year February 9th to fix my hip!

Until next weekend may the Lord be with you. #GraceRelations
