Last week was a good week I ventured out 2x for Dr’s appointments. First appointment was to meet with a plastic surgeon for possible surgery. There are two stages that I will have on my hip. The first stage a trauma orthopedic surgeon is going to take out my left hip socket because my left femur bone is out of socket. It’s jammed up into my pelvis and is fusing to it. The second step is to have a plastic surgeon Cover up the site where is surgery was done. But before those two stages I need to have a MRI which I’ll have it done this week if possible. It’s to check and see if there’s any infection in the bones. If there isn’t he’s going to wrap my back thigh muscle and do a skin flap to close everything. My second trip was my weekly appointment down at IU Wound clinic to make sure everything is healing. The appointment went well because measurements of the them show there getting smaller. To wrap up last week the pastor had a good sermon Sunday. The message was about how we try to control our lives. But as some of us have experienced we can’t do it on our own but must look to God to guide us. Friday during a transfer my feeding tube fell out so I have to schedule getting it put back in next week. To top off the end of the week our Colts have beat the Kansas City Chiefs. For those of you that pray I’d ask if you would pray there’s no infection in the bones so that the plastic surgeon can do his thing otherwise it’s going to have to heal on its own which would be a long process!
Until next weekend may the Lord be with you.
